About Me

I have been in financial services 40 years and have both Chartered Financial Consultant and Chartered Life Underwriter designations.

I began my career in Denver, Colorado after graduating Western State College in Gunnison, Colorado.

Life experiences shape who we are.  Back in 1996 my wife of 17 years Barb found a red spot which was the beginning of very aggressive breast cancer.  Knowing the cancer prognosis was challenging, I made the decision to move my financial services business home.  I am thankful I made that decision, as we were together the entire 1 year 11 months fighting the losing battle. 

This experience provided me a unique perspective of understanding the importance of enjoying life along the way!

While we were fighting Barb’s cancer, I had no choice but to hold my meetings from my home office using the phone and email and mail.  To my surprise my clients liked the convenience of having meetings from the comfort of their home or their office instead of fighting traffic coming to my office. I continue to hold all my meetings by phone and webinar.

God blessed me twice as I married Kim years after losing Barb.  Kim and I moved to Corte Bella in Sun City West, Arizona from Genesee, Colorado in 2004. We were fortunate to also move both my Dad and Kim’s Mom to Corte Bella.  Kim and I learned to play golf at Corte Bella and enjoy playing the game together. We have a 40 foot 5th wheel which we use during the summer typically staying in Grand Lake, Colorado. I love the financial services business and God willing will enjoy meeting new clients for many years to come.
